Protest in Turkey by Nationalist party.

Turkish nationalists took to the streets of London in a so-called protest against terrorism where they chanted “Turkey is Turkish” and “Turkey will remain Turkish”. They held up racist banners such as “How happy is one who is Turkish”. This protest came after the The National Party (Ulusal Parti) demanded that the Kurdish-populated district of Desrim should apologise to the Turkish State for slaughtering them. You can read more about that here.

This video was taken by Meryam Kaya on the 27th of November , she tells them during the video “I’m Kurdish” repeatedly as they hurl insults at her. This video, and many other previous incidents in the past months show a great level of hatred for Kurdish people within Turkey among certain groups that must be addressed by the Turkish state.
