Kurdish writer detained in Kermanshah

On Thursday, January 15th, Abbass Jalilian, a Kurdish writer, was arrested in Eslam Abad City, which is located in the western part of Kermanshah.

Abbass Jalilian, who goes by the name of “Kaou,” is a famous writer of the Kurdish literature of the south. So far, he has published many books, including: Bashur Dictionary, Rangameh, and Zarrineh and Simineh. He has also published many articles on language and literature, which have been published in Kurdish and Persian journals.
