3 Iranian Kurds arrested
Three Kurdish citizens from the Kamyaran province have been arrested by the Department of Intelligence.
On Friday, January 16, 2009, the Security Forces commenced searches of the small villages of Alk and Mareb of the Kamyaran province and proceeded to search a number of homes and consequently arrested three citizens, Mr. Mahmood Youssefi, 44, Mr. Golamali Youssefi, 31, and Mr. Hamzeh Youssefi, 21.
The Security Forces have announced that the aforementioned individuals will be transferred to the Department of Intelligence in Sanandaj. However, the families’ investigation and inquiries into the arrests and whereabouts of the three individuals has not revealed any information to date.
