According to the pro-Kurdish news site Firat News, a journalist from the West Kurdish tv-channel Ronahî TV and activists in contact with people in Amudê, the Syrian army is trying to enter the Kurdish town of Amudê in West Kurdistan (Northeast Syria).

Firat News writes that the people of Amudê is not going to let the Syrian regime in and that the situation there is tense.

But according to Avend Akreyî, a member of Tevgera Ciwanên Kurd (the Kurdish Youth Movement, TCK), who has been in contact with sources in Amudê, the Syrian army raided Amudê earlier this afternoon and kidnapped Kurdish activists including Salih Yusuf, a member of KNC in Amudê.

Avend Akreyî says there are still many soldiers in the area.

We await further information on the matter.
