Sarhad Chalesh from Turkish Kurdistan and Saeed Ramazan from Syrian Kurdistan were sentenced to death by the revolutionary court in the city of Khoy last month. These two activists were arrested and imprisoned two years ago on charges of membership in a Kurdish opposition group.
